On behalf of the RIGOP Chairmen's Caucus we thank all of the RI Local GOP's Friends, Family and Members for supporting the first annual Reagan-Lincoln event that brought 163 people together at the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet on Wednesday, May 14.
Thank you Governor Carcieri, Sue Carcieri, RI Republican Elected Officials, National Committee Candidates and the many people that made this event a success by either attending or writing substantial checks in support of your local Republican Committees. Thank you Mayor Laffey and Kelley Laffey for Hosting this event by paying for the Rhodes on the Pawtuxet facility and more important for having the vision to know this event would be a success. Thank you especially to my wife Betsy for supporting me and this effort for the past three months.
We have scheduled Wednesday, May 13, 2009 for the second annual Rhodes on the Pawtuxet event. The best part is that the money raised goes directly to their local Republican Committee and we all work together to guarantee success. In January, 2009, we recommend you collect tickets from your new members immediately as well as selling tickets in your community. We may have to get a new photographer but attached was my best effort to show the supporters at the event early in the evening.
We enjoyed the social aspects at the bar area and the limit for this area is 500 people which we should have as a goal in 2009 which translates to $50,000.
